Bicara Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotech company focused on bifunctional antibodies for oncology, is seeking a Director of Marketing Operations to build and lead the marketing operations function from the ground up. This critical role reports to the VP of Commercial and is central to supporting the pre-launch and commercial launch of Bicara's lead candidate, Ficerafusp Alfa. The Director will design, scale, and govern marketing operations while remaining actively engaged in execution and decision-making across high-impact workstreams. Key responsibilities include: **Operations & Execution**: Build standardized workflows for campaign planning, review, approval, execution, and measurement. Oversee marketing operations, promotional review processes, agency and vendor management, congress meeting planning, printing and fulfillment, marketing technology, launch operations, and budget management. **Promotional Compliance & Governance**: Lead implementation and operation of Bicara's promotional review process (MLR/PMRC) in partnership with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance. Develop SOPs, governance frameworks, workflows, and training materials. Serve as operational lead and chair of the Promotional Medical Review Committee. Ensure all promotional materials comply with FDA regulations and company policies. **Technology & Systems**: Partner with IT and Commercial Operations to select, configure, and optimize promotional review technology and marketing systems. Support development of the marketing technology roadmap including digital asset management, marketing automation, fulfillment, CRM capabilities, and analytics. Ensure approved content is appropriately deployed, version-controlled, and tracked across omnichannel channels. **Budget & Vendor Management**: Manage the annual marketing operating budget, monitor spending against forecasts, oversee purchase orders and contracts. Manage relationships with Agency of Record, digital agencies, production vendors, and technology vendors. Drive operational efficiencies and cost savings while maintaining launch readiness. **Cross-Functional Leadership**: Partner with Marketing, Field, Medical, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, IT, and Commercial Operations. Serve as key member of congress planning team. Monitor launch project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time execution. The role is based in Boston with a hybrid schedule (three in-office days per week).
