Salary: USD 203,000 - 274,600 / annual
Twitch is the world's largest live streaming platform, hosting global communities around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more. As Director, Head of Creative, you will lead and scale Twitch's global creative strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
You will build and mentor a high-performing creative team while fostering a culture of psychological safety, inclusivity, and continuous feedback. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders to align business objectives with long-term creative vision and maintain global visual and verbal brand standards across all markets. Your responsibilities include directing external agency partnerships to deliver creative excellence under tight timelines, championing creative initiatives to senior stakeholders through data-driven storytelling, and staying current with industry trends and technology to elevate the brand.
Key focus areas include designing and executing team structures that navigate ambiguity, synthesizing and presenting complex creative concepts to executive audiences, managing global brand standards and high-value agency relationships, and using performance insights and market trends to inform creative decisions. You'll also work to balance corporate brand standards with community authenticity, recognizing that creator and user voices are primary brand assets.
The role offers flexibility across multiple locations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Seattle, or New York.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years in creative direction, marketing, or advertising leadership with proven success managing teams of managers
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to synthesize complex concepts for executive audiences
- Proven track record managing global brand standards and high-value external agency relationships
- Data-driven mindset with experience using performance insights and market trends to inform strategy
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating strategic creative leadership, brand building, and campaign impact (required)
- Bonus: Experience building creative strategies where user/creator voice is the primary brand asset
