Telnyx is building a private, global, multi-cloud IP network and edge connectivity platform delivered through APIs. The company is financially stable and profitable, operating in the infrastructure and communications software space. You will build and lead Telnyx's direct enterprise sales organization across Europe, distinct from ISV and platform sales motions. The role involves creating a regional playbook, hiring and managing an initial team of eight enterprise account executives paired with field development engineers (FDEs), and scaling toward 16 sellers as performance supports it. Key responsibilities include: • Building a European enterprise organization with a pod model (AE + FDE pairs), establishing hiring standards, management cadence and shared technical-sales accountability. • Developing a deliberate country and account strategy, prioritizing markets and industries based on addressable revenue, competitive advantage and service capability. Start with named-account strategy, then segment for scale. • Creating a disciplined multinational sales motion that navigates country operators, central buying groups, and complex security, legal and procurement processes across European multinationals. • Leading technically credible solution selling: identify customer operational and economic problems, then validate architecture through demos, technical validation, integrations and production pilots. Demonstrate expertise in network performance, AI inference, data handling, security and deployment. • Packaging repeatable commercial plays around customer engagement, contact centers, AI agents, programmable voice and messaging, real-time network services and AI infrastructure. Work with Product and Marketing on localized proof and industry narratives. • Owning the operating system for profitable growth: pipeline generation, forecasting, territory design, conversion, rep productivity, hiring, coaching and deal inspection. Partner with Marketing, Product, RevOps and Customer Success. Success is measured by net-new European enterprise ARR, qualified pipeline, win rates, sales cycles, forecast accuracy and AE/FDE pod productivity. Early wins should establish a defensible set of priority markets and named accounts with replicable playbooks. Requirements: • Proven track record building and leading enterprise sales teams across multiple European markets, with personal involvement in closing substantial, complex B2B technology deals with large regional or multinational customers. • Deep understanding of how European enterprises buy, including regional differences in procurement, security, data handling and decision-making processes. • Technical fluency in cloud infrastructure, AI, networking, developer platforms or communications. Ability to work directly with FDEs and customer architects through demanding evaluations into production deployments. • Demonstrated skill in allocating coverage across countries and industries, recruiting strong local talent and running distributed organizations with consistent performance standards. • Rigorous forecasting discipline, strong executive presence and a record of converting initial deployments into larger, multi-year customer relationships. • Builder mentality who enjoys customers, recruiting and deals. Comfortable producing results without a fully formed regional machine in place.
