We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Investment and Pension (IPP) domain, overseeing 25+ engineers across multiple cross-functional teams. This is a strategic and operational leadership role within our domain-driven organization, partnering with a Head of Product in a binary-star leadership model.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Quality & Speed: Ensure teams meet commitments on time, scope, and budget. Drive accountability, pragmatism, and reusability. Lead complex technical and business projects. Resolve impediments and foster delivery-oriented collaboration.
Domain Ownership: Build long-term value creation for the IPP domain. Develop resilient domain expertise within teams. Maintain deep understanding of system landscapes. Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders. Manage data vendor relationships (evaluation, onboarding, management).
Tech Strategy: Shape technical strategy aligned with business needs. Collaborate with senior engineering leads on company-wide tech strategy. Drive strategic technical and architectural decisions. Evaluate trade-offs between maintaining existing solutions and introducing new alternatives.
Team & Culture: Lead engineering leads and tech leads directly. Build high-performance, resilient teams. Attract, hire, and retain diverse top talent globally. Mentor and coach team members. Organize workshops and hackathons. Represent Raisin at external tech events. Drive knowledge transfer best practices and protect a culture of trust.
Process & Compliance: Ensure efficient and compliant development processes. Maintain technical and business ownership of the IPP platform.
