This role requires sharp commercial judgment, meaningful experience in licensing and IP, creativity to operate in an emerging market, and hustle. You will be a key advisor to leadership and shape how Snorkel acquires data as a matter of company practice. Success is measured by growth of private data partnerships and the value they create. Qualifications: - 8+ years leading commercial dealmaking roles in data/content licensing, strategic partnerships, in-licensing, or complex commercial contracting with direct ownership of negotiations - Experience across meaningfully different business models or industries; ability to blend experience, best practices, first principles, and market feedback - Working fluency in content licensing, IP, and data rights; understanding of which terms determine deal viability and ability to partner with Legal on critical points - Proven track record managing partnerships post-signature with quantifiable results: deals closed, value created, relationships grown rather than inherited - Experience building and leading teams with high ownership and autonomy; track record of taking ambiguous mandates, building pipelines, setting bars, and delivering impact - Solid analytical and quantitative skills; comfort building valuation models and defending assumptions - Passion for unlocking new capabilities with modern AI - Demonstrated interest and strong point of view on AI training and evaluation data market - Excellent written and verbal communication; credibility with both internal leadership and prospective partner executives
