Keyfactor is the leader in trust infrastructure for AI and machines, helping enterprises and government agencies manage cryptographic identities and digital security. The Director of Customer Marketing will report to the VP of Product & Customer Marketing and lead the customer marketing and community team to drive retention, expansion, and advocacy among the installed customer base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute customer marketing strategy across adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy, building an integrated program calendar
- Drive awareness and adoption of capabilities across the installed base in partnership with Customer Success and Product Marketing
- Build renewal and expansion programs with Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, using adoption signals and renewal windows to drive cross-sell
- Own the customer advocacy engine including references, case studies, customer speakers, reviews, and referral programs
- Lead and develop the community manager and Keyfactor Community, connecting engagement to retention and expansion outcomes
- Oversee the customer advisory board and executive engagement programs, recruiting members and ensuring measurable outcomes
- Set strategy for flagship customer events (Keyfactor Connect, Tech Days) to drive engagement, advocacy, and pipeline
- Channel customer insights to Product through community, advisory board, and events to inform roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Establish measurement frameworks for adoption influence, retention/expansion impact, advocacy output, and community engagement
- Lead, develop, and grow the customer marketing and community team
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong influence across Customer Success, Sales, Product, and broader marketing. The role leverages customer marketing as a rich channel for product and strategic insights.
