ServiceTitan, a post-IPO globally distributed software company, is seeking a Director of Compensation to lead the design and evolution of its compensation function. This role owns the full stack of compensation strategy, structure, incentive design, equity programs, cycle execution, enablement, and employee/manager experience across operations in the US, Canada, Armenia, India, Poland, and Australia.
You will lead the modeling, tools, and enablement that transform compensation into a strategic asset. The role focuses on building instant, dynamic visibility for employees into their total compensation, creating tools to model equity outcomes, and enabling managers to have confident compensation conversations. You'll think about compensation the way a product manager approaches a product: identifying users, friction points, and opportunities for improvement.
Key responsibilities include: designing and evolving bonus and long-term incentive programs that connect individual and company performance to understandable, motivating outcomes; owning equity design as a strategic asset to attract, retain, and differentiate top talent; building tools and access for talent acquisition, business partners, leaders, managers, and employees to understand compensation; architecting systems that enable the compensation team to move quickly; partnering with talent management on pay-for-performance alignment; and staying ahead of market trends including AI, pay transparency legislation, and workforce shifts.
You'll bring 7+ years of experience designing and building global compensation structures across various markets (North America, EMEA, etc.), exposure to high-growth businesses, knowledge of compensation technology tools, complex problem-solving skills, expert modeling capabilities, and the ability to navigate leadership at all levels including board-level discussions. The ideal candidate can juggle strategic projects with tactical execution, communicate effectively, and think creatively while maintaining strong analytical rigor.
