Celonis is seeking a Director of Business Transformation and Value Consulting to lead the CPG & Retail segment across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) from the Munich headquarters. This is a player-coach leadership role managing a team of 6–7 Value Engineers while maintaining active involvement in high-impact customer engagements.
In this position, you will drive end-to-end customer value realization and accelerate enterprise AI adoption among major retail and consumer goods brands. You will own full operational and leadership responsibility for the segment, including ARR targets, renewal forecasts, and net retention metrics. As a trusted advisor to C-level executives, you will lead executive meetings, value sprints, and strategic transformation workshops, positioning Celonis's Process Intelligence Platform and Context Model as the foundation for modern operational excellence and Agentic AI adoption.
Key responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring a high-performing team of Value Engineers, maintaining rigorous performance standards through proactive coaching and career development, and serving as an executive sponsor on critical DACH deals. You will cultivate executive-level relationships across regional partner networks and services teams, standardize and scale best practices and industry-specific frameworks, and champion thought leadership in process intelligence and digital transformation within the CPG and retail sectors.
The role emphasizes a "player-coach" mentality with an active on-site presence at priority accounts, entrepreneurial growth mindset, and focus on expanding internal and external networks. You will work at the intersection of process transformation, management consulting, and AI-driven product execution, engaging directly with vocal customer champions and pioneering thought leaders shaping the future of retail innovation.

**Requirements:**
- Native or business-fluent German (spoken and written) and fluent English required to interface with DACH market executives
- Based in or willing to relocate to Munich, with willingness to travel across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Proven leadership experience managing pre-sales, management consulting, or value engineering teams within Enterprise SaaS, Enterprise AI, or Management Consulting
- Deep domain expertise in supply chain, procurement, fulfillment, and operational processes within CPG & Retail industries
- Demonstrated ability to directly manage or mentor a team of 6–7 high-performing individual contributors with strong passion for team coaching and talent development
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning ACV, net retention, and renewal pipeline metrics
- Outstanding executive presence with proven track record building C-level relationships across global brands and regional retail leaders
