Amplify Education is seeking a Director of Business Systems Technology to lead the strategic evolution of its enterprise technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges technical execution with business efficiency, moving beyond system maintenance to architect a high-velocity delivery model across Amplify's "Core 4" suite: NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, and Boomi, plus related applications.
In this role, you will lead a technology delivery team responsible for managing resource capacity, delivery velocity, and professional development. You will own and continuously improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process across the organization, drive the long-term roadmap for core enterprise applications, and ensure scalability, reliability, and measurable ROI aligned to organizational KPIs.
A key focus is implementing a strategic roadmap for AI-driven workflows and machine learning interventions across the enterprise. You will identify and deploy specific Generative AI and Machine Learning use cases—such as automated ticket classification in Salesforce, predictive financial modeling in NetSuite, and AI-enhanced employee self-service in Workday—to enhance organizational productivity and data-driven decision-making.
Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships with third-party consultants and staff augmentation partners, collaborating with systems leadership and business teams to align technology initiatives with business goals, working with the data team to ensure data integrity across enterprise systems, and establishing technological "ways of working" to streamline execution and improve output quality.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience in business systems development leadership, with expert-level architectural knowledge in at least two of: NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, or Boomi
- Demonstrated expertise in managing high-output delivery teams with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and balancing delivery velocity with system stability
- Extensive experience managing consultant teams and staff augmentation models, with focus on quality and fiscal health
- Deep understanding of middleware and integration patterns (e.g., Boomi, Mulesoft) to ensure data integrity across a best-of-breed tech stack
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in EdTech sector or high-growth SaaS environment with understanding of subscription-based revenue models and educational procurement cycles
- Familiarity with InfoSec frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Background in Data Engineering or modern data architecture (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran)
- Experience with AI Orchestration layers or low-code AI development tools (Einstein GPT, Workday Extend, Boomi AI)
- Proven track record of moving AI from concept to production with hands-on experience identifying, deploying, and measuring ROI of Generative AI or Machine Learning applications
- Vendor/industry standard certifications (ITIL, Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, etc.)
- Change Management Certification (Prosci or similar)
- Experience managing complex API-first ecosystems and event-driven architecture
