Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain through at-home EEG and cardiopulmonary signal platforms for clinical development and diagnostics. The company serves Life Sciences partners developing novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders, as well as building reimbursable diagnostic assessments.
You will lead the Analytics Systems Team (6-10 engineers) responsible for building and maintaining Beacon's Analytics Suite products. Your team develops tooling and pipelines that enable scientists to curate clinical trial data, perform rigorous analyses, and compute novel biomarker features at scale. Key initiatives include evolving data infrastructure to support a centralized feature store and integrating foundation models into core analytical pipelines.
As Director, you will manage team growth and development, coaching engineers to expand their impact and overcome challenges. You'll establish and maintain high bars for engineering quality, productivity, and accountability while fostering continuous improvement. You'll scope and prioritize tactical work aligned with strategic initiatives, develop outcome-oriented longer-term roadmaps, and own project management for team initiatives including scope definition and timeline management.
You'll drive product direction and discovery by establishing cross-functional connections and building deep product intuition across the team. You'll own prioritization decisions ensuring the team tackles the highest-impact problems for customers and business. Finally, you'll craft and execute a forward-looking strategic vision for how Analytics Systems can reshape Life Science projects, support diagnostic workflows, and enable rapid biomarker discovery using real-world data.
Beacon maintains robust asynchronous work practices supporting remote work, with office hubs in Boston, New York, and Paris. The Analytics Systems Team is currently distributed across American time zones.
