Chamber Cardio is rebuilding the cardiology system by partnering with independent cardiologists to lead population health efforts. The company combines clinical expertise, thoughtful design, and modern operating platforms to support physicians, patients, and payers.
Reporting to the CTO, the Director of Analytics & Reporting will build and own Chamber's central analytics function from the ground up. This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you will write SQL, build models, and ship reporting yourself while establishing the definitions, infrastructure, and governance that allow the company to scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning metric definitions and quality standards across claims and operational data to ensure consistency across board decks, partner deliverables, provider dashboards, and care team reports
- Building and maintaining a governed semantic layer that encodes definitions for use across internal applications, executive reporting, and AI-assisted analysis
- Producing repeatable monthly and quarterly board reporting packages and executive performance dashboards in partnership with clinical, finance, and operations teams
- Tracking contract performance and SLA metrics across active payer agreements with early warning systems
- Building the clinical analytics surface for quality measures, care gaps, medication adherence, utilization, and risk stratification
- Establishing standards and documentation so analysts in finance, clinical, and operations can answer their own questions against certified definitions
- Distinguishing between deterministic pipelines required for payer and board reporting versus exploratory internal analysis
You will sit on the technology team alongside IT, information security, engineering, and product. Your leverage will come from trusted definitions, reliable data infrastructure, and clear standards rather than headcount. The goal is to create a governed metric layer that enables business units to become self-sufficient.
Required qualifications: 8+ years healthcare analytics experience with ownership of an analytics or reporting function; direct experience with value-based care mechanics including risk contracts, shared savings, total cost of care, and quality reporting; proven ability to maintain consistent metric definitions across multiple consumption surfaces; experience building executive and board-level reporting; experience delivering payer partner reporting against contractual specifications; track record of building reporting functions from scratch; comfort operating without a team in a fast-paced startup with incomplete data and competing priorities. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
