Webflow is seeking a Director of Analytics Engineering to lead the design and evolution of the company's data infrastructure, modeling, and analytics capabilities. Reporting to the VP of Data & Insights, you will own a strategic vision for enterprise data architecture, aligning data models, integration patterns, governance, and AI-native systems design with business priorities and platform growth.
You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of Analytics Engineers focused on building a scalable, reliable, and well-documented data foundation while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include designing and operationalizing a unified semantic layer with canonical datasets, enforced modeling standards, lineage graphs, and business context that powers self-serve analytics at scale and conversational data access. The role requires 10+ years of hands-on experience in data and analytics engineering, with deep expertise building and maintaining scalable, reliable data models and infrastructure in modern data stack environments. Proficiency with SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud warehouses (particularly dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau) is essential. You should have a track record of implementing high-quality data solutions and fostering data-driven cultures.
