Salary: USD 157,310 - 251,700 / annual

Conga is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead the global accounting function and oversee the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial reporting, close processes, and compliance framework. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations while building scalable processes that support a high-growth SaaS environment. In this hands-on leadership role, you will partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business leaders to ensure alignment between operational activities and financial outcomes. You will guide the accounting team and actively contribute to key deliverables including month-end and quarter-end close, annual audits, and technical accounting matters. The Director of Accounting plays a central role in managing the close process, preparing for and leading annual audits, and continuously improving accounting operations to scale with the business while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards. Conga is a commercial operations software company that unifies pricing, quoting, contracting, rebates, and communications for enterprise customers. The company serves over 10,000 customers worldwide, including more than 50% of the Fortune 100. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements that support executive decision-making, board reporting, and investor confidence. This position drives cross-functional alignment and ensures that financial processes scale while maintaining compliance standards. REQUIREMENTS: - 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles within a SaaS or technology-driven organization - Strong expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, and managing month-end and quarter-end close processes - Experience leading teams and developing talent - Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required); CPA strongly preferred - Experience in SaaS accounting, including familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606), subscription models, and billing integrations (highly preferred) - Proven experience leading annual audits and working with external auditors - Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks - Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar - Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation tools - Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance scalability and efficiency - Ability to effectively collaborate with Billing, AR, Legal, FP&A, and business stakeholders - Strong communication skills with ability to translate accounting concepts to non-financial audiences - High level of precision, accountability, and quality orientation - Solutions-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
