You will serve as Chief Financial Officer for all West Africa operations, based in Dakar. You are the single point of accountability for financial oversight and reporting across the region. Your responsibilities include: (1) Producing monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash position) for each entity and consolidating into group reporting; (2) Managing and coordinating local accounting teams and external audit firms across entities, setting closure calendars, reviewing deliverables, and maintaining quality standards; (3) Executing reliable monthly closures across all entities and currencies (FCFA, USD), performing reconciliations, and implementing controls as the business approaches audit-ready status; (4) Serving as the finance liaison to headquarters, translating local realities into group reporting standards, responding to data requests, and supporting consolidation; (5) Optimizing and automating financial processes to reduce manual work and accelerate reporting, while recruiting, onboarding, and developing the local finance team.
You will work with significant autonomy in close collaboration with central Finance, Data, and Treasury teams. This is an opportunity to build the operational backbone of a high-growth healthtech company scaling from 30,000 to hundreds of thousands of members across an entire continent, operating in a market where nearly everything remains to be built.
