White Circle is an AI safety company building the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems. The company has raised $70M in Series A funding from top-tier investors including founders and leaders from OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, Mistral, DeepMind, Datadog, and Sentry. White Circle processes over 100 million API calls monthly and fine-tunes its own LLMs for superior performance and cost efficiency.
As DevRel Lead, you will own White Circle's developer relations strategy and execution, determining how engineers and AI researchers discover, understand, and adopt the platform. Your responsibilities include:

- Writing and publishing technical content including blog posts, tutorials, walkthroughs, demos, and social media threads on X and LinkedIn
- Organizing and running hackathons, meetups, and technical events, primarily in SF and New York
- Building and growing a technical community around open-source work and the platform
- Establishing and managing technical partnerships and collaborations with AI labs, developer tools companies, and research teams
- Providing technical input to promotional and product videos in collaboration with design and creative teams
- Tracking key metrics (signups, repo stars, views, event turnout, hiring pipeline) and optimizing based on performance data
This is a people-management role where you will own the full developer relations function and drive adoption through community building, content, events, and partnerships.

- Engaged following among engineers and/or AI researchers on X, LinkedIn, GitHub, or similar platforms
- Deep knowledge of the AI tooling landscape: coding agents, eval frameworks, open-source models, and key builders
- Ability to take complex technical topics and make them compelling for developer audiences without oversimplification
- Ownership mindset with ability to move fast and execute independently
- US-based or able to work US hours; SF or New York preferred, but exceptional candidates considered elsewhere
- Fluent in English
PLUS (not required):
- Led developer marketing or DevRel for a technical launch that drove real adoption
- Contributed to or maintained popular open-source projects
