Revolut is seeking a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer to join its Compliance team and support the development and maintenance of anti-financial crime (AFC) strategy and AML/CTF programmes. The role focuses on ensuring UK regulatory expectations are understood and compliant controls are embedded across the firm's wealth and trading operations. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting the MLRO in developing and refining robust financial crime and AML/CTF programmes - Designing and delivering impactful AML/CTF and sanctions training that drives behavioral change and clarifies staff responsibilities - Ensuring financial crime risks are proactively considered and mitigated during new product development and feature launches - Overseeing internal and external suspicious activity reporting (SAR) processes, including investigation, recording, and timely submission to regulators - Escalating critical financial crime risks and suspicious activities to relevant regulators and law enforcement - Collaborating with the MLRO and Compliance Managers to provide strategic recommendations and mitigate regulatory risk - Maintaining oversight of financial crime and AML/CTF frameworks across different business areas Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 7+ years of experience in financial crime compliance - Experience supporting AML/financial crime compliance within securities trading, brokerage, investment, or wealth management - Knowledge of financial services regulation and fraud detection methodologies - Understanding of emerging financial crime and money laundering typologies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to oversee and apply AML policies, procedures, and controls in complex financial operations - Problem-solving and decision-making skills for analyzing complex information - In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory environment and financial crime regimes - Understanding of payment systems, markets, technology, and mobile applications Nice to have: Master's degree or professional qualification (ICA, ACAMS).
