Revolut is seeking a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer to strengthen its anti-financial crime and AML/CTF compliance framework. Reporting to the MLRO, you will oversee the development and maintenance of anti-financial crime strategy, ensuring local regulatory expectations are met and controls are embedded across the organization. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting the development and maintenance of the AFC strategy and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements - Assisting the MLRO in developing and refining a robust financial crime and AML/CTF programme - Designing and delivering impactful AML/CTF and sanctions training that drives behavioral change and clarifies staff responsibilities - Proactively identifying and mitigating financial crime risks during new product development and feature launches - Overseeing the internal and external suspicious activity reporting (SAR) process, including investigation, recording, and timely submission to authorities - Escalating critical financial crime risks and suspicious activities to relevant regulators and law enforcement - Collaborating with the MLRO and Compliance Managers to provide strategic recommendations and mitigate regulatory risk You will need 7+ years of AML/CFT compliance experience within regulated financial entities (banks, licensed fintechs) or compliance law firms. A bachelor's degree in law, finance, economics, business administration, or related field is required. You must have operational expertise in AML/CFT framework settings, control execution, and second-line-of-defense independent risk challenge. Experience defining and documenting local financial crime programmes and Article 115 banking compliance is essential. You should have a track record overseeing STR governance, managing filings, and handling inquiries from the CNBV and local financial intelligence units. Product risk assessment experience for digital banking and commercial features is required. A CNBV Compliance Officer Certification is mandatory. Nice-to-have qualifications include other professional compliance certifications (ACAMS, CFE, International Compliance Officer) and experience with cryptoassets or advanced digital banking features.
