Revolut is seeking a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer to join its Financial Crime team as part of the second line of defence. This role supports the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) in managing financial crime compliance and regulatory oversight for Revolut's Irish operations.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining local and group financial crime policies; providing oversight on identification, remediation, and resolution of financial crime-related risk incidents; enhancing internal control measures and developing business risk assessment processes; and supporting the MLRO in managing key regulatory relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland and GNECB.
You will assist with MLRO reports presented to the Board, help define standards for managing financial crime risks across the organization, and provide second line of defence support to business and first line of defence teams during product launches and process implementations. Additional duties include ensuring financial crime risks are considered in day-to-day operations such as product development and customer onboarding, delivering financial crime training, participating in governance committees, and establishing dashboards to monitor key risk indicators.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of financial crime experience covering AML/CTF and sanctions across retail and business customers, including KYC, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and fraud reporting. You should understand innovative financial services products (crypto, buy now-pay later) and their associated risks, be familiar with anti-financial crime frameworks and regulatory requirements from CBI, EBA, and global bodies, and have expertise in identifying vulnerabilities and advising on best practices. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. A professional qualification from an internationally recognized body (ICA or ACAMS) is a nice-to-have.
