Rapyd is a global fintech platform unifying payments, payouts, and financial services across 150+ countries. As Deputy Compliance Officer based in Bogotá, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining Rapyd's compliance infrastructure in the Colombian market and supporting regional operations. You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving Rapyd's Compliance Management System, ensuring it meets evolving regulatory requirements across financial services, AML/CTF, and data protection frameworks. You'll monitor regulatory changes across local and regional markets, assess operational impact, and keep leadership informed of emerging compliance risks. Key responsibilities include conducting regular compliance risk assessments in collaboration with cross-functional teams to design proactive mitigation strategies. You'll oversee transaction monitoring systems, manage the escalation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in coordination with the AML Officer, and ensure timely reporting to the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC), UIAF, and other local authorities. You'll support internal compliance training initiatives on financial ethics, code of conduct, and regulatory requirements to embed a strong compliance culture across the organization. You'll participate in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and examinations, ensuring swift and thorough responses with documented remediation plans. Working closely with legal, risk, technology, and product teams, you'll ensure compliance controls are naturally embedded into business processes and systems. You'll maintain precise compliance records, policy documentation, and internal control maps to support audit readiness and regulatory transparency. This role requires strong knowledge of Colombian financial regulations, AML/CTF frameworks, and fintech compliance best practices. You'll be part of Rapyd's global compliance team spanning offices in Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Singapore, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and the U.S.
