Code Metal is an AI-driven software engineering company that uses formal methods to produce provably correct code. The company serves government and defense customers including the U.S. Air Force, L3Harris, RTX, and Toshiba, helping them modernize legacy systems, optimize performance, and accelerate prototypes to production.
As a Deployment Strategist, you will be the bridge between Code Metal's product and engineering teams and government customers facing complex operational challenges. You will work closely with end users, forward-deployed engineers, product managers, and growth teams to understand customer pain points, identify product improvements, and drive adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct onsite visits and deep-dive engagements with end users to understand critical workflows and pain points
- Identify and prioritize product features based on customer needs, working with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate solutions
- Embed with engineering and product teams to translate field insights into product roadmap improvements
- Design and implement bespoke workflows for new user groups within customer organizations
- Lead training sessions and drive product adoption across customer teams
- Build and deliver product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers
- Identify expansion opportunities, new customer segments, and growth potential within government organizations
- Serve as a trusted advisor and relationship owner for key government partners
This role requires 50% travel to customer sites. You will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong analytical and product intuition, and demonstrate genuine empathy for customer challenges. Success requires curiosity, humility, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Active U.S. security clearance (required)
- Former operator with deep respect within relevant government/defense communities
- Demonstrated understanding of government customer workflows and pain points, ideally from prior experience in similar roles
- Strong existing relationships across U.S. Government organizations
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
