Chainalysis is seeking a Deployment Strategist (Mandarin-speaking) to serve as an embedded technical advisor for enterprise customers in the Asia-Pacific region. This role bridges solutions engineering, customer success, and pre-sales, focusing on end-to-end customer outcomes from discovery through long-term value delivery.
You will own complete customer engagements, partnering directly with clients to understand their investigative, compliance, or operational objectives in cryptocurrency and blockchain intelligence. You'll design and build custom workflows, notebooks, dashboards, and data models using Chainalysis products, enabling customers to operate solutions independently and embed them into their operational infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include: conducting deep discovery and investigative work; designing bespoke technical solutions; delivering live training, demos, and technical briefings to mixed audiences; acting as primary technical and domain advisor; engaging in pre-sales technical discussions for complex deals; and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to influence roadmap development based on field intelligence.
Required qualifications include fluent Mandarin (spoken and written); hands-on experience conducting cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence work, or financial crime analysis; deep familiarity with blockchain ecosystems (Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi); proficiency in Python and SQL; and substantive domain expertise in at least one area: financial/cyber crime investigations, sanctions/compliance, fraud, national security, DeFi security, tax, or private sector risk.
You should have a proven track record building trusted customer relationships through technical credibility, excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and experience enabling and upskilling customer teams. The role requires comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with strong ownership and sound judgment. AI fluency is expected—you'll be expected to develop AI capabilities independently and collaborate on reinventing workflows.
