Chainalysis is seeking a Deployment Strategist to join Global Services as a core technical practitioner embedded within customer organizations. This role owns the full lifecycle of customer value—from problem discovery and blockchain investigation through solution design, deployment, and customer enablement.
You will work directly with law enforcement, national security agencies, financial institutions, and compliance teams to understand their investigative and operational objectives. Your responsibilities include conducting blockchain investigations across the Chainalysis platform using tracing, OSINT, and analytical techniques; designing and building custom workflows, notebooks, dashboards, and queries; and enabling customers to operate solutions independently.
As the primary technical and domain advisor for your customers, you'll build trusted relationships through hands-on expertise. You'll deliver live training, demos, investigative walkthroughs, and technical briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll also support pre-sales technical engagement for complex deals and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to influence roadmap improvements based on field intelligence.
Required qualifications include direct experience conducting or supporting cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence work, or financial crime analysis in operational environments. You need deep familiarity with blockchain ecosystems (BTC, ETH, stablecoins, DeFi) and how on-chain data is used in investigations and compliance workflows. You must have delivered customer-facing technical solutions in complex environments and worked directly with law enforcement, national security, intelligence, or compliance teams.
Technical requirements include proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and solution development, experience building notebooks and dashboards, solid understanding of data modeling and large datasets, and ability to quickly develop expertise in Chainalysis data structures. You need substantive knowledge in at least one domain: financial/cyber crime investigations, sanctions/compliance, fraud, national security, DeFi security, tax, or private sector risk.
Desirable experience includes direct Chainalysis product experience, law enforcement or intelligence background, expert evidence or legal proceeding support, familiarity with compliance frameworks (BSA/AML, sanctions screening, MiCA, Travel Rule), and data engineering tools (Databricks, Snowflake). Fluency with AI tools and methodologies is expected as part of Chainalysis's AI-first culture. Excellent English and Hindi proficiency required.
