Runway is seeking a senior individual contributor to serve as a Deployment Strategist, working directly with the company's most strategic enterprise and creative partners. This role bridges customer success, product strategy, and technical implementation for Runway's generative AI platform used by Hollywood studios, Fortune 100 companies, and leading creative organizations.
You will own deep C-suite relationships with Runway's largest partners, ensuring they succeed in adopting Runway's AI tools to transform content creation. You'll collaborate directly with world-class creative teams at major studios and brands to co-create innovative content while serving as a strategic thought partner internally. Your responsibilities include understanding partners' content pain points, proposing targeted solutions, and prototyping new market opportunities.
Key responsibilities: develop and maintain strategic partnerships at the executive level; embed within accounts to understand their challenges and propose discrete solutions; rapidly onboard new partners to Runway's platform and API; provide high-impact feedback to Product and Engineering teams; analyze partnership performance using BI tools; identify and prototype new market opportunities; and maintain a deep functional and technical understanding of Runway's products and roadmap.
You'll need 5+ years in customer-facing roles engaging C-level technical audiences within tech, finance, or consulting. Experience leading complex implementations of generative AI or traditional ML solutions with measurable business outcomes is essential. You should be comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritizing. Strong presentation and communication skills, high technical aptitude, and exceptional resourcefulness are critical. Experience with data tooling and BI systems (SQL, BigQuery, Retool) is a nice-to-have. Preference for candidates based in New York, San Francisco, or London.
