Chainalysis is seeking a Deployment Strategist to own the pre- and post-sale relationship for strategic accounts across West and Southern Africa. This role sits within the Customer Outcomes team, which translates blockchain intelligence into operational capability for financial institutions, crypto businesses, regulators, and law enforcement agencies across EMEA.
You will own onboarding and deployment for strategic accounts, building adoption plans with clear success criteria. You'll serve as the primary technical advisor for compliance, investigations, and executive stakeholders, delivering product training and enablement that transforms new users into confident daily users. A key responsibility is translating customer workflows and pain points into solution designs, integrations, and platform configurations.
You'll monitor usage and engagement trends to surface expansion opportunities and early churn risk, then act on both. You'll partner closely with Sales on renewals and expansion, contributing directly to retention and growth targets. Collaboration with Support, Product, and Engineering teams is essential to resolve escalations and channel structured field feedback into the product roadmap.
Additionally, you'll represent the company at industry events, customer forums, and conferences across the region, and contribute to team playbooks and documentation that scale customer service delivery.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in customer-facing roles at high-growth technology companies (customer success, solutions architecture, presales, technical account management, or enterprise consulting). You must have a track record of owning enterprise accounts and managing senior/executive stakeholders through complex, multi-month deployments. Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain—how transactions, wallets, exchanges, and stablecoins work, and their intersection with AML, compliance, and investigative workflows—is essential.
You'll need exceptional written and verbal communication skills, professional fluency in English, comfort with technical concepts (APIs, data analysis, logic-based workflows, AI agents), and demonstrated ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership.
Nice-to-have experience includes direct exposure to financial crime, AML/CFT, fraud, law enforcement, or financial regulation; hands-on blockchain intelligence or analytics tooling; relevant certifications (CAMS, CCI); experience supporting public sector customers or financial institutions in Africa; and fluency in European or Arabic languages.
