TradingView, the world's largest financial analysis platform with 100M+ users across 180+ countries, is seeking a Deploy & Monitoring Director to lead the team responsible for delivering products to production and commissioning new services. This role manages a team focused on containerization, automation, orchestration, virtualization, and monitoring systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing team members: setting tasks, prioritizing work, tracking progress, and supporting professional development
- Developing and enhancing monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix) to ensure infrastructure and application reliability
- Collaborating with DevOps/SRE teams to improve CI/CD processes and observability automation
- Designing and implementing monitoring infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
- Ensuring incident readiness, implementing SLI/SLO frameworks, and building effective alerting systems
- Mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and providing technical feedback
- Conducting technical interviews and participating in hiring
- Monitoring team progress, identifying bottlenecks, and contributing to process improvements
- Collaborating across engineering teams to promote observability culture
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all monitoring-related matters
Required qualifications:
- At least 5 years of IT experience, including 1–2 years in a team lead or technical leadership role
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
- Experience configuring and monitoring distributed systems
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid DevOps and SRE principles knowledge
- Infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
Desirable: AWS or other cloud provider experience; high availability and disaster recovery knowledge.
