Qumulo is seeking a Deal Desk & Pricing Manager to support complex deal structuring and pricing excellence across EMEA and APAC regions. As the company's first pricing and deal desk manager in Cork, you will serve as Finance's final approval authority on deals before quotes reach customers, working at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving deals ranging from standard renewals to multi-year agreements, consumption deals with credits, and enterprise license agreements. You will identify deal risks such as capacity changes that mask down-sells, payment structures that erode margins, and channel discounts not reflected in systems. You'll perform real-time pricing calculations for cloud credits, model annual-payment structures, and work through margin implications across distributor and reseller layers. You will partner with sellers to structure deals that work economically, positioning yourself as a closer rather than a blocker. You'll participate in forecast and deal reviews with EMEA and APAC sales leadership, analyze deal and renewal data to test and refine discount guidelines and regional pricing, and improve approval processes, documentation, and data quality across renewals and forecasting. The role is hands-on and individual-contributor focused, with significant authority and room to grow, including future opportunity to build and lead a local team. You'll work from the Cork office three days per week, with regular late-afternoon calls to Seattle and increased activity around quarter-end. Qumulo's cloud data platform manages exabytes of data across edge, core, and cloud environments, serving over 1,100 customers with mission-critical workloads in AI, HPC, genomics, medical imaging, and media rendering. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years in deal desk, pricing, or commercial finance at a software, SaaS, or infrastructure company - Degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience - Proven track record structuring non-standard deals independently, not just validating against price lists - Hands-on experience with at least two of: consumption/usage-based pricing and credits; multi-year, ramped, or enterprise license agreements; multi-tier channel deals; hardware and software bundles - Strong Excel modeling skills and comfort with margin, cash-flow, and ARR/NRR concepts - Salesforce experience (CPQ experience preferred) - Confidence to hold positions with senior sellers and executives, with sound judgment on when to flex - Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for analysis and documentation - Bonus: contract review experience, additional language skills, cloud marketplace or infrastructure-inclusive deal structure experience, pricing through distributor/reseller channels
