Snowflake is seeking an experienced Deal Desk Manager to join the International Deal Desk Team in Amsterdam, working 3 days per week in the office. This role sits at the intersection of sales, finance, and operations, serving as a trusted advisor to the EMEA Sales organization on complex deal construction, review, approval, and negotiation.
You will be the central coordinator between Sales and all other corporate functions—including Professional Services, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Deal Operations—ensuring smooth deal flow and execution. Key responsibilities include partnering with senior sales leadership on complex transactions, facilitating information flow across departments, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls, and helping establish or refine deal processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, or related areas, with a strong foundation in contract review and interpretation, basic accounting and revenue recognition principles, and SaaS/consumption business models. You must be comfortable advising senior management, influencing across organizational levels, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, as is the ability to build relationships across the company and train others on deal processes.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, experience with complex contract negotiations and long sales cycles, knowledge of data warehousing/analytics, and prior Deal Operations or Revenue Recognition experience.
