Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform used by leading companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for regulatory reporting (including CSRD), and drive real decarbonization.
You will be an early member of the Customer Data Services team in London, working hands-on with the world's top companies to accelerate their sustainability programs. Your core responsibilities include:
- Clean and transform customer business data into Watershed templates to reduce friction and accelerate time-to-value
- Interface directly with customers to understand their raw data and guide them toward proper solutions
- Apply judgment to assess, advise on, and execute data cleaning best practices
- Rigorously document all data manipulation decisions to ensure traceability during third-party verifications
- Synthesize customer feedback and experiences to drive continuous improvement of services and software
This is a hands-on role at a growth-stage startup where you'll have direct impact on customer outcomes and product development. You'll work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on accelerating global sustainability efforts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role
- Expert Excel skills for data cleaning and transformation; SQL or Python experience is a bonus
- Systematic and thorough approach to work with a drive to get details right
- Strong intuition for how spreadsheet data maps to real-world business problems; ability to translate abstract problems into concrete data frameworks
- Genuine excitement about customer interaction with high empathy and commitment to helping customers achieve outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to non-technical audiences
- Low-ego team player with strong sense of ownership; driven by team goals and bias for action
WORKPLACE: In-person in London office 4 days per week.
