The ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority) team is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Pakistan office. You will be part of an entrepreneurial team with direct access to management, driving growth in the firm's regulatory data reporting service for leading investment managers.
In this role, you will manage inflows of client data and maintain an accurate database of issuers, loans, and deal sites. You'll conduct issuer research to establish correct relationships and identify assets accurately. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client data inflows and maintaining databases of issuers, loans, and deal sites
- Conducting issuer research to establish relationships and identify assets correctly
- Serving as the KYC point person, keeping client and contract records accurate and current
- Collaborating with the Product team on workflows, contract execution, and invoicing
- Developing mechanisms to simplify data collection centralization and metric integration into the ESMA product
- Acting as a champion for the client base, understanding their needs and requirements
- Educating client relationships as an ESMA Article 7 framework expert
You will use excellent communication skills to liaise internally and externally, serving as a product champion for the ESMA team.
Requirements:
- Fixed income operational experience
- Knowledge of broader financial markets
- Experience with leveraged loans (advantageous but not required)
- Ability to be a self-starter, independent thinker, and collaborative team player
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks diligently
