Revolut is seeking a Data Scientist / NLP Deep Learning Engineer to join its Data Science team in Bucharest (with hybrid flexibility across Poland, Portugal, Spain, and UAE). The role focuses on building AI-driven features using advanced large language models and deep learning techniques.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing AI-powered user-facing features such as personal assistants, chatbots, and copilots from scratch
- Building both user-focused and backend features leveraging deep learning and NLP
- Creating impactful, scalable, data-driven AI solutions that serve millions of customers
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Operations Managers
- Integrating cutting-edge AI technologies to drive innovation across Revolut's platform
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience in deep learning within natural language processing and large language models
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (mathematics, computer science, engineering)
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and production-grade data science tools
- Deep understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals
- Ability to think strategically, diagnose complex problems, and productionize research
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline
- Experience with additional programming languages (Java, Scala, C++)
- Background at large tech companies valued over $15B
- Competition medals in physics, mathematics, economics, or programming
