As a Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist on the Data Team, you will own the full lifecycle of machine learning products that enhance user experience, optimize workflows, and maintain platform safety. Your responsibilities include:
• Building production-ready ML models using advanced data science techniques, writing robust and scalable code that powers real-world applications
• Exploring Catawiki's extensive mobile and web data to identify data science opportunities and apply machine learning and advanced statistics to solve business problems
• Balancing pragmatism with deep technical expertise, applying your knowledge of ML techniques to tackle complex challenges
• Collaborating cross-functionally with product owners, developers, UX designers, and business analysts to identify improvements and new ML use cases
• Deploying scalable models using Kubernetes on cloud infrastructure, producing real-time, asynchronous, and batch predictions
You are an all-around data scientist with 5+ years of experience, comfortable both diving into model implementation details and discussing ML opportunities with product stakeholders. You can leverage a broad skill set to solve challenging ML problems with high throughput and are familiar with a range of ML techniques. The Data Team operates with a mission to create business value through scalable, robust models and actionable insights, empowering the entire company to use data strategically.
