Lovable is a platform enabling anyone to build software with any language, from solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams. Millions of users leverage Lovable to transform ideas into products rapidly, with applications visited hundreds of millions of times monthly. The company is expanding its London team after establishing its core presence in Stockholm.
You will be the first data scientist on Lovable's new London growth team, owning the complete growth funnel from acquisition through activation, retention, and expansion. This is not a support role—you drive the numbers and outcomes directly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own growth funnel metrics end-to-end and drive measurable improvements across all stages
- Identify highest-leverage opportunities and translate them into shipped experiments working directly with growth engineering
- Design, run, and interpret growth experiments (A/B tests, growth tests) and act on findings
- Build instrumentation, metrics systems, and agents that proactively surface growth opportunities
- Shape the growth data function as its first data scientist, establishing processes and best practices
Required skills and experience:
- Deep expertise in SQL and Python with strong applied statistics knowledge
- Proven track record running heavy experimentation in fast-moving environments
- Instinctive understanding of acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion levers
- Ability to ship quickly with directional insights while knowing when rigor is critical
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort being first in seat and autonomous
- Experience building proactive systems rather than one-off analyses
Tech stack includes BigQuery, PubSub, Hex, GCP, and Lovable Apps. The role requires fluency in English as the company language.
