Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 / annual

SentiLink is a Series B fintech company building identity verification and fraud detection solutions. As a Data Scientist, you will own the full lifecycle of fraud detection and financial risk models—from data acquisition and feature engineering through model training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring. This is a full-stack role requiring both research capabilities and production engineering skills. Key responsibilities include: developing and maintaining core fraud detection models; building foundational modeling for SentiLink's expanding fraud and financial risk product suite; researching emerging fraud types and developing new products; iterating on solutions through new data sources and creative feature engineering; writing production-ready code for real-time decision-making; designing and presenting analyses to inform data acquisition, product development, risk operations, marketing, and sales; and collaborating with engineering, risk operations, and data acquisition teams. You will work in a fast-moving environment where deep domain understanding and unusual insights drive competitive advantage over pure ML optimization. The role requires end-to-end ownership and the ability to communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders. Tech stack: Python 3, PostgreSQL, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift). The company operates with offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the US, plus Gurugram and Bengaluru in India. They support flexible work arrangements ranging from fully remote to in-office, though proximity to an office is encouraged.
