Revolut is a global fintech company on a mission to give people more from their money through spending, saving, travel, transfers, investing, and exchange products. With 45+ million customers and 10,000+ employees worldwide, the company continues rapid growth while maintaining a strong culture recognized as a Great Place to Work. The Data Science team at Revolut operates at the front lines, embedded in product teams to deliver high-impact solutions rather than working in isolation. This role focuses on the retail credit lifecycle, where you'll build and improve machine learning models that directly shape customer experiences. You will work on the full spectrum of credit problems: building models for credit decisioning and lifecycle management, researching and prototyping new approaches, and delivering production-ready data products. Your work will involve rigorous experimentation, algorithm optimization, and collaboration with product owners, engineers, and fellow data scientists to solve complex financial problems. Key responsibilities include: - Building and refining models across the retail credit lifecycle (origination, pricing, monitoring, collections) - Improving existing algorithms and developing new proofs of concept - Delivering data-driven solutions with measurable product impact - Researching emerging techniques and translating them into production data products - Partnering with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design) to diagnose problems and discover solutions You'll need a strong foundation in data science fundamentals: a STEM degree (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering), proficiency in Python, SQL, and production ML tools, and deep knowledge of probability and statistics. Prior experience in a credit institution's data science team is essential. Strong communication skills and a big-picture mindset are critical for collaborating effectively across the organization.
