Jerry.ai is a high-growth fintech platform that started as a top-3 car insurance broker in the U.S. and has expanded into a comprehensive asset management app covering insurance, maintenance, repairs, and adjacent verticals like home and motorcycle. With 5M+ customers, $240M+ in funding, 70X revenue growth, and profitability achieved in early 2024, the company is scaling toward 50M customers and a $10B valuation.
The Data Science & Analytics team comprises 14 analytical professionals, many with consulting backgrounds (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), who drive insights and decision-making across product, growth, tech, and operations. You'll join this central team but be embedded within one of Jerry's core business units: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships.
In this role, you'll own the analytical function end-to-end for your assigned business unit. Your responsibilities include: defining the right business problems and hypotheses before analysis; building metrics, reports, and experiments; surfacing data insights that move key metrics; and driving outcomes by bringing recommendations to product, growth, finance, and operations counterparts. You'll be a hands-on contributor—not a pure strategist—executing analysis, communicating findings to skeptical stakeholders, and seeing initiatives through to completion.
You'll work with SQL (Clickhouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub. The culture emphasizes no unnecessary slides or corporate fluff, direct problem-solving, and tangible business impact. Every team member owns a critical domain with minimal bureaucracy.
Required: 2+ years at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth tech company; strong SQL or Python skills; track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact; and ability to communicate clearly and influence leadership-level decisions. You should be a first-principles thinker who asks "what are we solving?" before diving into data, and an owner who takes responsibility for outcomes.
