As a Data Scientist, you will join a growing team utilizing foundational data science to support the health and lives of children with special healthcare needs. This role is critical to understanding the power of the company's data and leveraging insights to directly impact patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into robust ML/AI models to improve clinical outcomes for children
- Work with the Staff Data Scientist and cross-functional teams to define requirements, optimize data collection, build data assets, and deliver insights on business strategy and patient care
- Develop ML models incorporating clinical, claims, and social determinants of health (SDoH) data to drive actionable recommendations
- Partner with clinical and operations teams to implement data-driven solutions that enhance care delivery
- Build and maintain data pipelines and analytics infrastructure to support ongoing model development and monitoring
