You will join the Decision Science team to develop, implement, and monitor statistical and machine learning models for commercial lending products. Your responsibilities include:
• Developing statistical and machine learning models for lending products, with opportunities to build entirely new models as the company expands borrower offerings
• Optimizing existing models and identifying alternative data sources to drive innovation
• Translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and control weaknesses
• Experimenting with various frameworks and techniques for model optimization
• Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business partners across the organization
• Leveraging AI tools to automate complex workflows and improve operational efficiency
You bring a degree in a quantitative STEM discipline with proven ability to translate theory into production-level solutions. You have hands-on experience in statistical modeling, machine learning architecture, and deployment, demonstrated through enterprise work, research, or advanced projects. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, with the ability to write clean, efficient code and construct complex multi-table queries. You excel at cross-functional collaboration, turning technical outputs into commercial value. Experience in credit risk or data science is valued but not required.
