Jellyfish is a global digital marketing agency combining technology, creative expertise, and data science to drive client success. As Data Science Manager reporting to the Director of Data Science, Investment Analytics, you will lead the Investment Analytics practice and oversee Paid Media data applications that power client solutions.
You will own complex data science initiatives, guide cross-functional teams through advanced measurement and testing engagements, and drive adoption of sophisticated methodologies. Key responsibilities include analyzing data to uncover actionable trends and insights, promoting data science methodologies such as geo-based incrementality testing, experiments, media mix modeling, and causal impact studies to enhance campaign performance. You will develop and implement predictive models to improve media performance, customer experiences, and revenue outcomes.
You'll collaborate with platform partners to expand the suite of mathematical techniques for incrementality testing and media mix modeling, leveraging both open-source and proprietary code. Documentation and process standardization are critical—you will ensure analytics projects are documented for replication and scaling across the organization.
Required qualifications include 3-5 years in a data role with proficiency in Python and SQL. You must be skilled in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Matplotlib, or equivalents) and have deep knowledge of the marketing ecosystem including paid display, search, social, video, organic, web, and app channels. Experience analyzing media and web data platforms (Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google ADH, Campaign Manager, Meta, Google Analytics) is essential, as is familiarity with media measurement solutions including media mix modeling, incrementality, and attribution models.
You are a problem-solver with a collaborative mindset who values diverse perspectives and works effectively in teams. Machine learning conceptual knowledge is valuable; hands-on experience is a bonus. The company emphasizes skills and behavioral attributes over traditional credentials.
