Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Data Product Manager to own the adoption strategy and user experience of its enterprise semantic layer. Reporting to the Master Data Management (MDM) team, this role bridges product management and enablement leadership. You will champion semantic layer adoption across the organization by designing and delivering comprehensive enablement programs including workshops, bootcamps, office hours, hackathons, and training documentation. You'll translate complex data structures from PLM, MES, ERP, Foundry, and Databricks systems into clear product requirements for ontology objects and semantic models. A key responsibility is identifying and equipping power users across business domains to serve as local semantic layer champions, decentralizing support and fostering peer-to-peer learning. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll understand their analytical needs and collaborate with Data Architecture and Data Platform engineers to ensure the semantic layer delivers intuitive solutions. You'll contribute to semantic layer design, data definitions, and governance policies while building high-quality training materials and best practices guides that empower users for self-service data consumption. You'll also communicate the strategic value of the MDM-fueled semantic layer to diverse audiences—from engineers to executives—articulating how it accelerates AI-driven innovation, ensures data trust, and supports IPO readiness. This role is central to Anduril's mission of transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, directly accelerating AI-driven application development and scaling the data foundation to meet aggressive growth targets. Required: 6+ years in Data Product Management, Data Enablement, or Technical Program Management, with demonstrated experience treating data or internal tools as a product. You must excel at bridging business and technical teams, translating complex problems into product requirements and data specifications. Proven experience designing and delivering engaging enablement programs, workshops, and hackathons is essential, along with hands-on experience working with data platforms for modeling, governance, and consumption patterns.
