Hex is a collaborative analytics and data science workspace that's shaping the future of the data profession. The Data team drives product innovation and enables best-in-class operations and decision-making across the company.
In this full-stack data role, you'll lead thinking about how data teams operate in the AI era while accelerating Hex's ability to bring that future to data teams everywhere. You'll partner closely with the Growth and Monetization team to evolve pricing and packaging strategies, experiment with new ways to demonstrate product value during trials, and provide colleagues with data-driven insights that make Hex adoption a no-brainer.
Key responsibilities include conducting analysis on successful sales POCs and self-service trials, partnering with cross-functional growth squads to improve product-led-sales strategy, evaluating and evolving monetization approaches alongside the rapidly evolving product, and continuously testing and adopting new tools and workflows. You'll share feedback with product teams and help train teammates on using Hex effectively as a data workspace.
You bring 8+ years of experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, data scientist, or equivalent in a highly analytical role. You have a track record of maximizing business impact by navigating ambiguity and unblocking the functions you support. You're curious about new technologies, willing to experiment with tools and workflows, and driven by quality, simplicity, and maintainability. You have strong SQL and dbt knowledge, experience with data warehouses and ELT pipelines, and proficiency with AI-assisted tools.
Bonus qualifications include experience at sales-driven B2B companies with high-touch sales motions, exploration of emerging data ecosystem tools, and a passion for community through documentation, mentoring, or external knowledge sharing.
