As a Data Migration Specialist, you will own end-to-end data migrations for new Podium customers, ensuring they start with clean, accurate, and well-structured data. You'll extract data from third-party systems (CSV, APIs, database exports), clean and normalize it, and upload into Podium. Working closely with Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers, you'll be the technical bridge ensuring data accuracy from day one.
Key responsibilities include automating data transformations using Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets, leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to accelerate data cleaning and validation, identifying patterns to improve migration processes, collaborating cross-functionally to define requirements, and troubleshooting post-launch data issues with urgency.
You'll bring 1–2 years of experience in a data or technical role (Data Analyst, RevOps, BI, Technical Onboarding), strong Python skills with pandas, advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, experience using AI tools, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent English communication. Nice-to-have skills include SQL, REST API experience, SaaS onboarding/implementation background, and familiarity with CRM or business data models.
This is a hands-on, technical role based in Guatemala City (Zone 10, Edificio Interaméricas) with a Monday–Friday schedule aligned to Australian hours (11am–8pm GT).
