Palantir is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain the data foundations, reporting workflows, and automations supporting Recruiting and Hiring Operations. You will work cross-functionally with Hiring Operations, Recruiters, Data, Security, Privacy, and other technical and non-technical partners to transform complex recruiting processes into reliable datasets, dashboards, and operational tools. In this role, you will move fluidly between building data pipelines, debugging integrations, creating dashboards, documenting procedures, and helping stakeholders understand how to use resulting tools. You'll integrate data from systems such as Lever, Workday, Foundry, and other recruiting platforms. You will develop reporting datasets and dashboards for recruiting performance, candidate pipelines, recruiting programs, and operational audits. You'll evaluate existing data integrations for opportunities to reduce latency and implement necessary changes, partner with central Data and platform teams on warehouse connections and schema changes, and support integrations between recruiting systems and internal tools including writeback of data updates. Additionally, you will design data access and reporting solutions that respect confidentiality, role-based permissions, and regional or organizational access boundaries. You'll create clear documentation for sensitive workflows and ensure operational users understand data limitations. You'll proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting and workflows as recruiting processes change, partner with team members, engineering, product and business leaders to understand user behavior and patterns, and monitor pipelines for stability while suggesting and implementing efficiency initiatives. Palantir builds software for data-driven decisions and operations, empowering partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.
