Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 / annual

As a Data Engineer II on the Analytics & Modeling team, you'll design, implement, test, and deploy applications that build and enhance CLEAR's platform. You'll work with a modern tech stack including SQL, Python, Looker, Snowflake, and dbt to create the next generation of products enabling members to leverage networked digital identity while maintaining privacy and security.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building scalable data systems enabling analysts and engineers to self-service changes in an automated, tested, secure, and high-quality manner
- Designing and maintaining data pipelines for collection, cleaning, and transformation (owning end-to-end data products from ingestion to visualization)
- Developing and implementing data analytics models
- Building processes supporting data transformation, metadata management, dependency tracking, and workload orchestration
- Partnering with product and stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems
- Taking strong ownership of architectural decisions and driving continuous improvement
You bring 4+ years of data engineering experience with cloud-based application development. You're fluent in several of: AWS, pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Luigi), big data tools (Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks), collaboration/deployment tools (Github, Argo, Jenkins), and data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau). You excel at articulating technical concepts to mixed audiences, collaborating and mentoring less experienced team members, and operating comfortably with ambiguity. You're curious about technology, committed to continuous learning, and autonomous in identifying what matters.
