We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Warehouse (DWH) team. You will design and build our corporate data warehouse using cloud technologies and industry best practices for data processing and storage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining data warehouse solutions for business users, analysts, and ML engineers
- Building data synchronization pipelines between internal and external systems
- Creating tools and infrastructure for collecting data into the DWH
- Designing and implementing EL/ELT/ETL pipelines
- Integrating new tools and practices for data governance and data quality
- Optimizing costs across data infrastructure
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Proven DWH development and maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse architectures (Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, Data Mesh)
- Expertise in data modeling (SCD forms, normal forms, star schema, data vault)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL with best practices
- System design expertise
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and GCP
- Deep understanding of data processing and storage best practices
Bonus skills:
- REST API, gRPC, message brokers, and queue systems
- Experience with modern data storage systems (relational, MPP, NoSQL)
- Google Cloud Platform expertise
