Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive, personalized platform that combines dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health, and social resources with evidence-based interventions and hybrid in-person/virtual care. As a Data Engineer, you will be central to building the data foundation that powers Daymark's mission. You'll work closely with Finance and Clinical leaders to design and deploy scalable data infrastructure using modern tools like Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Sigma. Your responsibilities include: • Building and scaling robust data pipelines that handle complex healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, real-time patient activity data) while ensuring data integrity, availability, and compliance. • Supporting deployment of scalable infrastructure and tooling to enable analytics, reporting, and real-time data exchange with providers and partners. • Driving high-impact analyses that translate complex data into clear insights informing care delivery and payer collaboration. • Developing real-time analytics capabilities to monitor key metrics and support strategic decision-making. • Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and external teams to prioritize data initiatives that advance the value-based care model. • Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate analytics into production systems. • Providing ongoing insights from partner and provider data that directly impact patient outcomes and business success. • Aligning data infrastructure to support evolving strategic priorities (pharma data, fee-for-service models, etc.). • Augmenting analytics processes with AI use cases. You bring 4+ years of data engineering experience with a strong track record building scalable systems in cloud environments. You have deep expertise in healthcare data—particularly claims, EMR, and patient-generated health data—and ideally have worked with actuarial teams or value-based care leaders on risk modeling and contract design. You're a strategic problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, combines hands-on technical ability with systems thinking, and communicates effectively across technical and clinical teams. You're mission-driven, curious about emerging tools and methodologies, and committed to improving the healthcare system.
