Conga is seeking a Data Engineer to partner with application developers and business stakeholders to design and optimize enterprise data architectures. In this role, you will analyze raw data, develop and maintain datasets, and create comprehensive data models that reduce redundancy and streamline data movement across the organization.
You will be responsible for designing and building robust data warehouse solutions, creating optimized data pipeline architectures, and implementing scalable solutions to manage large data imports. Working within the Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) initiative, you'll transform business requirements into logical and physical data models, ensuring efficient data retrieval and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing relational databases and modern data models within enterprise environments
- Building and maintaining ETL data pipelines using tools like Matillion ETL
- Developing dimensional models and data warehousing solutions
- Creating reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine data models
- Implementing operational procedures for data quality and efficiency
- Leveraging Python and AI-powered tools to automate business processes
You should have 3+ years of data engineering and modeling experience, with strong expertise in SQL, relational databases, and business intelligence best practices. Hands-on Snowflake experience is required. Familiarity with Salesforce data models, SSIS, and APIs within ETL processes is advantageous. You'll be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of working proactively in a rapidly changing environment and taking ownership of initiatives that benefit the organization.
