Attention Arc is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure powering their media and analytics ecosystem. This hands-on role focuses on modernizing ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and process data from advertising platforms, internal systems, and third-party vendors. Key responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines for Google Marketing Platform products (Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360) and other digital advertising platforms; designing integrations between advertising platforms, data warehouses, and reporting solutions; troubleshooting data discrepancies across trafficking, ad serving, and reporting systems; and refactoring legacy workflows to improve reliability and reduce complexity. You will develop and maintain high-performance relational and analytical data models supporting reporting, planning, optimization, and attribution. The role requires expertise in Microsoft SQL Server environments, workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, and database best practices including security, backup/recovery, and performance monitoring. Additional responsibilities span tracking and measurement infrastructure (JavaScript implementations, pixel management), privacy-conscious measurement strategies, and automation of repetitive workflows through scripting and orchestration. You'll collaborate closely with Media, Ad Operations, Analytics, and Technology teams to ensure advertising data is accurate, complete, and actionable for business decision-making. This is not a general data engineering role—the ideal candidate has firsthand experience supporting media teams, campaign reporting, measurement, and attribution within an advertising or media agency context. You'll evaluate emerging cloud technologies, establish best practices for data engineering and systems architecture, and maintain clear technical documentation.
