Appdome is seeking a Data Engineer to join its growing Data team. The company is the leader in AI-native mobile business protection, delivering over 400 security, anti-fraud, anti-bot, and API protection capabilities powered by deep learning models trained on a decade of mobile defense data. The platform processes trillions of live threat events daily to help financial, healthcare, m-commerce, and B2B brands secure over 50,000 mobile apps and protect more than 1 billion end users globally.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, low-latency data pipelines and infrastructure that handle massive volumes of threat and risk data. You'll architect data models, schemas, and storage layouts optimized for fast retrieval at scale, working across both SQL and NoSQL databases. Key responsibilities include building real-time and event-driven ingestion and processing systems, optimizing databases through query tuning and indexing, and managing big-data volumes using Spark for large-scale processing and enrichment.
You will own data observability end-to-end—from ingest to serving—ensuring pipeline health, freshness, and data quality. You'll collaborate closely with software engineers, security experts, and data scientists to integrate data systems into Appdome's products. This is a hands-on role where you'll have real influence over how the company builds its data infrastructure to support real-time detection, risk scoring, and threat response at scale.
