Veeva Ostro is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to own the data systems and measurement analyses that drive product evolution and customer success in AI-enabled omnichannel healthcare engagement. You will architect and scale a modern, AI-ready data platform while leading a team of data analysts and engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Modern Data Architecture & Engineering: Partner with platform and data engineers to upgrade existing data infrastructure to be high-fidelity, scalable, and AI-ready for internal and external users.
• Customer Data Integrations: Guide execution of data integrations into customer systems in partnership with solutions engineering.
• Product Analytics: Uplevel the standard suite of analytics and measurement insights in partnership with the product team, surfacing insights that govern product evolution.
• Custom Client Analyses: Execute on client-specific analytical requests in partnership with client services teams, enabling customized analyses that reflect each client's strategy.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Direct and grow a team of data analysts and data engineers, fostering technical excellence and career development.
You will work at the intersection of life sciences, marketing, and AI, empowering pharmaceutical brands, healthcare providers, and patients through data-driven insights.
Required qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in data science, analytics, and/or data engineering, including managerial experience leading teams.
• Deep hands-on expertise in SQL and Python with strong capabilities in data modeling, advanced quantitative analysis, and large-scale data handling.
• Strong command of modern data architecture, particularly AI-readiness enablement. You will actively participate in design and build decisions alongside engineers.
• Recent work experience related to pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (not necessarily at a pharma company).
• Undergraduate or master's degree in a technical discipline (computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, physics, etc.).
