Salary: USD 150,000 - 250,000 / annual
Veeva Ostro is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to own data systems and measurement analyses at the intersection of products, customers, and commercial strategy. The role combines technical leadership with strategic impact in the life sciences and AI space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and scale the next generation of the data platform to be modern, scalable, and AI-ready
- Partner with platform and data engineers to upgrade existing data architecture for high fidelity and external accessibility
- Guide execution of data integrations into customer systems in partnership with solutions engineering
- Uplevel the standard suite of analytics and measurement insights with the product team
- Execute custom analytical requests for clients in partnership with client services
- Direct and grow a team of data analysts and data engineers
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data science, analytics, and/or data engineering roles, including managerial experience
- Deep, hands-on expertise in SQL and Python with strong data modeling and advanced quantitative analysis capabilities
- Strong command of modern data architecture, particularly AI-readiness enablement
- Recent work experience related to pharmaceutical/life sciences industry
- Undergraduate or master's degree in a technical discipline (computer science, statistics, engineering, math, physics, etc.)
- Ability to work with large datasets and lead technical teams
The ideal candidate will have technical depth to actively participate in design and build decisions while managing and mentoring a growing analytics team. This is a high-impact role where data insights directly influence product evolution and customer success.
